| NewsBehind the Books: APU Libraries Go OnlineAzusa Pacific University Libraries introduced an exciting software upgrade with the addition of powerful online self-service features. This update will improve catalog searching functionality and will give APU students, faculty, and staff the ability to access personal library accounts online, renew checked-out items, save catalog searches, rate and review books, view library fines, and subscribe to RSS feeds of library account activity.
Clay is Beijing BoundFormer Azusa Pacific great Bryan Clay is returning to the Summer Olympic Games, and he’ll be in search of gold when he travels to Beijing, China, in August. Arguably the world’s greatest athlete at this moment, Clay scored a personal-record (PR) 8,832 points to win the decathlon at the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. It’s his second straight Olympic Trials title and the third U.S. championship of his stellar career.
1998 Class Reunion RecapThe class of 1998 celebrated their 10 year reunion on Saturday night, June 21, 2008. Approximately 80 classmates were able to attend the evening to reconnect, hang out and reflect on their time at APU. Click here to view pictures from the reunion.

We want to provide a way for you and other APU alumni in the area to connect with new and old friends.
APU New York Event at The Museum of Biblical Art Date: August 02, 2008 Join Azusa Pacific for a special luncheon and concert at the Museum of Biblical Art in New York City. This performance is presented in conjunction with the exhibit highlighting the works of German artist Albrecht Dϋrer. The 75-minute program will feature original music in addition to compositions by Edvard Grieg, César Franck, and Ludwig von Beethoven.
Orange County Chapter: Luau Dinner & Swim Time Date: August 24, 2008 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM Join the APU Alumni Association, Rick Givens ’83, Kathy ‘97 and Bryan Schager ‘95, Laura Dingfelder ‘03, and Kellie Cabrera ’07 for an Orange County Chapter Luau Dinner on August 24th. The Schager Family has opened up the Promenade Square Private Pool in their residential community for our enjoyment. Please bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share with others. When you register online, please select an item from the list to bring for dinner. Drinks and meat for barbequing will be provided by the Office of Alumni Relations.

Dinner Theater: The Music Man Date: September 26, 2008 5:30 PM This year the Alumni Office will have its annual Dinner Theater and silent auction supporting student scholarships. We are excited for a performance of The Music Man by students in the APU Drama Department. More information and ticket sales to come.
Homecoming 2008 Date: October 23, 2008 to October 25, 2008 We are looking forward to the many alumni, parents, and friends who come back each year for Homecoming. We are currently developing our full schedule of Homecoming but below is a small sampling of what will be on the full schedule.
Alumni Cruise 2009 Date: January 09, 2009 to January 12, 2009 All alumni, parents, and friends of APU are invited on the 5th annual Alumni Cruise Friday, January 9 - Monday, January 12, 2009. This cruise is a casual event with plenty of free time to relax and have great fellowship with friends and family. This year we’ve added a great feature with seminars by Dr. Jim Burns.
